How to Calculate SGPA

SGPA Formula
SGPA = Σ(Grade Point × Credits) ÷ Σ(Credits)

Multiply each subject's grade point by its credit hours, sum them all up, then divide by the total credits. This gives your Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA).

What is the difference between SGPA and CGPA?
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) is calculated for a single semester. CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the weighted average across all completed semesters. CGPA reflects overall performance.
How to convert SGPA to percentage for VTU?
