Before You Apply — Check Your Attendance

Condonation is generally only possible if your attendance is between 65% and 74%. Below 65% is usually automatic detention.

Key Tips for Getting Condonation Approved

Apply earlyDon't wait until the last week before exams. Apply as soon as your attendance drops below 75%. Early applications show sincerity.
Use correct documentsMedical certificate must be from a registered doctor with date, stamp, and signature. College/university-issued ID required.
Be polite and preciseKeep the tone respectful. State facts clearly — dates, attendance %, reason. Avoid vague or emotional language.
Get a parent's letterSome colleges require a parent or guardian letter along with your application. Ask your HOD in advance.
