How to Calculate Monthly Attendance Percentage

Monthly attendance percentage is calculated using the same formula as regular attendance but applied to a single month's data.

Monthly Attendance FAQ

Monthly % = (Days Present / Total Working Days in Month) x 100. For example: Present 20 days out of 26 working days = (20/26) x 100 = 76.9%.
Add all students' attendance percentages for the month and divide by number of students. Or more accurately: Total class-days present / Total possible class-days x 100.

For a single student: Days Present / Working Days x 100. For a class: Sum of all student percentages / Number of students. Our monthly calculator handles both cases.
Yes. Your semester attendance is the sum of all monthly attendances: Total Attended (all months) / Total Held (all months) x 100. A bad month directly lowers your cumulative %.
For 22 working days: attend at least 17. For 20 working days: attend 15. For 26 working days: attend 20. Our monthly calculator shows this automatically.
